Milton Glaser Signed Print "APPLIQUE"

Conceived and produced by the legendary designer Milton Glaser for the Rubin Museum of Art, these limited-edition silkscreen prints interpret tantric philosophy and the richness of the Museum’s collection of Himalayan art.

 

The prints measure 25 ½ x 19 ½ in. and are signed and numbered by the artist. They are printed on 100% cotton, 250 grams Rives BFK paper, and are available unframed.

 

About the Artist

Milton Glaser (1929–2020) was a celebrated designer from New York known for his iconic creations, including the logo “I ♥ NY”, and for cofounding New York Magazine. He opened Milton Glaser, Inc. in 1974, and produced work in various fields of design up until his death. He had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art and the Centre Pompidou, and he received a National Design Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum for his contributions to contemporary design. In 2009 he became the first graphic designer to receive a National Medal of the Arts.
