Mini Noh Mask ― Koomote

Ko-omote, literally "little mask," conveys the face of a young and quiet lady. She is characteristically depicted with her eyes, nose and mouth being closer to the center. These features are thought of as being representational of the ideal image of an innocent maiden. Ko-omote is a prototype mask for more than 20 other types of female roles with varrying emotionalities.
